Hotel Kompas was a great place to stay for our first time in Lake Bled, Slovenia. We enjoyed using the gym and pool which was included in our stay. We also opted in to use the squash court for an additional charge. The view from the pool and deck were amazing especially during the sunset hours. The provided breakfast and dinner buffets had a great selection of food and desserts, and the service staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly would like to commend Sanjay for his exceptional hospitality during our visits to the restaurant. The only downside to our stay was the heat in our room which made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep in but a pedestal fan was provided at no extra cost, which was a life-saver.
The hotel is very nice, with even nicer staff. Pool water is cold, and the jacuzzi tub is small. But the view is nice. Rooms are really nice and warm. The bathroom is OK-ish... could be better... but overall we had really nice stay.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kompas in Bled, Slovenia. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely views that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The wellness facilities were excellent, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The manager was especially helpful, particularly as we were traveling with a child, and even gave us a homemade jam as a gift, which was delicious. The location is also ideal, close to everything you need. Highly recommended!
