Nice hotel with theater within the same building. That has one negative - sometimes it's very loud in rooms and you can here the play. But usually after 9PM it stops. Rooms were nice and clean. We had air conditioning, safe, and minibar (refrigerator) in the room. Bathroom was ok, they even provided toothbrushes with toothpaste. Negatives - no elevator. Hotel has 3 floors and missing elevator can be complication especially for elderly people with heavy luggage. Another negative is that wifi password was nowhere to find. I had to go down to reception and ask for it. It wifi is available, I expect the password will be somehow provided automatically (usually it's written on the piece of paper in the room). Location of hotel is great. Staff was nice.

Mixed thoughts really. Would I stay here again ? No The rooms were modern, spacious and with new facilities, towels, bedding etc. Fridge, safe table etc. But there was a strange smell - not sewage - but a sort of plastic smell, which I eventually tracked to the wall coverings. Odd but tolerable. First floor room but no elevator. Reception is a mix of young and ok, and old and Soviet 'surly, No info on the wifi so you have to go back down to ask reception who seem a bit scornful at having to explain the password. Location is handy and near to Freedom Square, but car access is from the rear with a walk and steps to navigate - it is not well signposted. My room was never serviced during 4 nights there. It was cheap, but overall I would not really recommend it unless you got a good deal like I did, and price was your primary consideration. It is clean and modern however. Not a real 'hotel' feel to it, and the receptionsists are hidden behind an extraordinarily high counter - very odd. Just does not have a warm or welcoming feel to the place at all - very Soviet and reminiscent of 1990s Moscow in my experience.

Staff could not be friendlier or more welcoming. Location is great. However. Sheets are too small for the bed so if you move you sleep directly on the mattress cover. Showers need to run for 10 min before you get in or they are cold. Had to move rooms because the shower was flooding into the room below. Construction works going on every weekday, so plan to get up and out before 9am. Cleaner helped themselves to some money while we were out. While hunting for this we discovered dead flies, cobwebs etc that suggested anything more than a surface clean is a pipe dream. Smell of smoke drifts up from the foyer. Vanity point- mirrors are pretty poorly lit so bring your own if you wear makeup. Wifi is exceptionally weak, and connection drops frequently.
