As a family of four with two small kids, San Simon was a great fit for us due to the close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and various activities in Izola. The rooms were clean and of high standard, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I booked a rokm for 3 night in early april. I was on Izola om a business matter and found evetything to be very nice. My room could have fit 5 people and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and beakfast at the San Simon restaurant very generous. Just be aware that this is a sport and family resort.
The room is nice. unfortunately the parking system is complicated. there is not enough free space and a token must be requested at the reception to get out. the air conditioner in our room dripped even though it wasn't cheap. it takes about 6 minutes to walk to the breakfast area. this is of course only unpleasant in the rain. the sunbeds can also be used on the hotel's private beach for an extra fee.
