Hotel Màgic Pas by Nexta

I was in a sky vacation with my son for 1 week. The hotel is located in short walking distance from the slopes and has a ski storage, jacuzzi to relax after skiing and a nice pub. What made our vacation is the restaurant and especially Martin the chef!!! I suffer from Celiac disease, and Martin took extra care pointing out what I can eat and even making dishes especially for us to have the full experience. So we really felt at home.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly nice and helpful, making the stay more pleasant. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great selection of food. However, noise was a significant issue. Street noise was constant. In addition, you could hear sounds from the next room whenever someone used the tap or took a shower, which was very annoying. Additionally, the only public seating area was the bar, which meant you couldn’t bring your own drinks—an inconvenience for guests who just want a quiet place to relax. If you decide to stay here, consider asking for a room on the side that is far from the local bars to minimize street noise. Overall, while the hotel maintains good quality, it feels overpriced for how noisy it is. If you're a light sleeper or looking for a more peaceful stay, you might want to consider other options.

Our vacation at Magic Pas can be summarized with mixed feelings, with more negatives than positives. To begin with the positives: - The staff were really really nice, helpful and polite. They were always available to help us and always in a kind manner. - Room size was pretty good. - There were lockers in the hotel to store the ski gear which was really helpful. - The location of the hotel js great, about 3-5 minutes walk from the ski site, and also close to supermarkets, cafes and reataurants. - Breakfast was good with a good variety of options to choose from. The negatives(considering this hotel is a 4 star hotel): - The rooms are outdated and do not look good, and the floors were not really clean. - in our room the shower was bad, the current was weak and the water took ages to flush in the bath, causing us to shower in a huge pond.. not a good experience. - noise isolation between the room and the corridor was almost NON EXISTENT - we could hear everything from the next rooms and the corridor. - body soap container did not get filled for a week - sure, we could have asked for more, but the reality was that for a week, the soap was not even checked if it needs to be filled up during the room cleaning which was done every day. - The Dinner was an exceptionally bad experience - one of the worst dinners i have had in a long time, and every day it was basically the same - there was a variety to choose from, but the food was very bad And not tasty at all, the meat was super chewy with lots of bad parts as well as the chicken and other foods. Vegetables were bland and tasteless. A really disappointing ending to every day was going to the dinner in the hotel, most of the days i had to go out to look for something to eat. I am sorry to say this but the level of the food in dinner was beyond bad and surely does not meet the standards of a 4 star hotel. A big let down here. Really, not expecting a Michelin star quality food here, but i found most of the dinner meals to be untasty to say the least. To summarize, i can say that the stronge positive points of this hotel is the staff.. If i am in pas de la casa again, i will try to go to another place..
