The Hotel Oxford is located in Lido de Jesolo, right on the beach, making it a fairly relaxed vacation. The place itself is beautiful, with many restaurants. Just be aware that this is a popular destination for tourists. The proximity to Venice (a day trip) makes the location even more attractive. During our one-week stay in July, the sea was quite cool/a bit cold. However, this is entirely due to the temperature, depending on the weather. However, it's not as warm as in the Mediterranean. The hotel staff is mostly friendly. Our favorite was our room service lady, who really did a great job cleaning every day. She also paid attention to small details, which we appreciated. We had a few issues, such as rooms with thin walls and mattresses with special covers, but the manager, Rinzo, and his team were very helpful. Nothing stood in the way of a room change, and our concerns about the mattress were also taken seriously. The breakfast buffet is lavish, with something for everyone, from various cheeses, meats, and breads to muesli, yogurt, fruit, and cakes. We're currently pregnant, and our requests were catered to. The ladies at the breakfast buffet were very nice. The loungers on the beach are free; you get a designated spot for your stay. At the pool, you pay €5 per lounger per day. It's a bit quieter at the pool, and the price for loungers is reasonable. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The team and their positive energy also make for a wonderful stay.
