We stayed 2 nights in a Studio with balcony, which is one of the types of units in which the hotel allows dogs: - However, they charge an additional €25 per dog per day, which is very pricy. Every other hotel that we've visited that allow dogs have provided a little welcome pack for our doggy with bowls and sometimes, even a little bed. So, feel like we were charged €25 per day just for having a dog. - Another minus point for us was that the car parking was 200 meters away, difficult to park in, and again, another €25 per day. - Bed is very soft, so not a great choice if you need sturdy suppport for your back. - Bathroom can do with adding two glasses and checking that the refillable soap containers are indeed, filled. Overall, the Studio interior is minimalistic and neat and has everything you need for a short stay. We loved that a proper coffee pod machine was available. Furthermore, the hotel's location is great with easy access to the beach and town centre.
The hotel is very centrally located between the dunes and the beach. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a studio for a few days, and the room was large and clean with a beautiful balcony. Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks. There was only one blanket but this was quickly resolved. There was a kettle and an espresso machine, but no cups. There were bowls and plates, but no cutlery, and the lighting was very dim.
A bit of a disaster... they changed the price for my dog even though their website advertises another one, then they asked me to upgrade to be allowed with my dog. When I arrived, they did not give me the room to which they had upgraded me because they made a mistake and the dog could, in fact, stay in the room they gave me. The housecleaner did not come in when I left for an hour on purpose, then came after I was back and got upset when I asked her to come back later... she, in fact, just gave me towels and never cleaned the room. I asked if I could have an iron, it turns out someone had taken it and they did not know where it was, the nespresso machine was full of dirty capsules... etc etc It wants to have the feel of a boutique hotel, but it is just really disorganised and mostly, the lady at reception did not give a damn...
