Hotel Playa Pesquero AI

Amazing vacation!!!! Will definitely go back and recommend to everyone. We traveled with 3 kids under 14 years of age. Kids had a great time and there was no shortage of food. Beach was beautiful with clear turquoise water. Hospitality was beyond my expectations. Can’t wait to be back again !

This is a great resort Hotel. We have been there three times now. The staff, resort, food, beach and locals all put together makes such a relaxing and accommodating place.

We have been 3 times to this resort. The first time it was amazing, everything was perfect. For the second time, it was ok until the last day when I got a very bad indigestion with vomiting, fever, diarrhea. The trip coming back to Toronto was a nightmare and from the airport I went straight to the emergency room. Now we went back hoping for a better experience and following the good reviews. The resort was ok, the room was very good, even though the TV wasn't working- we don't go to Cuba to watch TV- no issues with air conditioner, neither with hotwater, no complains at all. The atmosphere and service were also great, and cuban people are the best. I want to make myself understood that we have been for 21 times in Cuba, we know what to expect, we are not picky with anything, we just love this country, the beaches, the ocean and amazingly friendly cuban people. However, this being said, this was our last vacation at Playa Pesquero. The open area in the buffet, with that many birds sitting ON the food and eating from the cheese, the bread, the peas, the sweets and other foods, also the cats jumping on tables.... made me think of my previous experience in the ER, and I got to understand that it is not clean and safe to eat there. I feel very bad even for writing this review, but I think it is fair to other people, especially with children, to know what to expect despite all the effort the workers in the resort put. We will go back to Cuba twice a year as usual, just not to Playa Pesquero, sadly and unfortunately 😕
