Hotel Presidente Luanda

I recently stayed at Hotel Presidente in Luanda and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with a beautiful view of Luanda Bay. It’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers, especially those needing quick access to government offices or the port area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering a stunning sea view. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room included essentials like a minibar and safe. However, I was a bit surprised there was no complimentary tea, coffee, or bottled water—small touches that are expected at this price point. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of options, both continental and local. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help. That said, the restaurant service could be slow at times, especially during peak hours. Additionally, the overall value for money could be improved—rates are relatively high compared to similar hotels in other countries, though this seems common in Luanda. Overall, Hotel Presidente is a reliable and comfortable choice, especially for business travelers who want a central location and solid amenities. Just be prepared to pay a bit more than you might expect.

Nice hotel in Luanda with a terrace bar and food gym/spa facilities. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very good. Buffet style service in the main restaurant, all the food was nice especially the sushi. The bar service was a little slow at times but other than that it was quite a pleasant stay for a couple of nights.

Overall experience is great. The food menu should be revamped. Rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities.
