Have visited hotel Residenz twice with my family in the last two years and both times had an excellent experience. The management is very helpful and give you insightful tips of the surrounding area. It is a children friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need. Breakfast is delicious and it has a nice charming bar. Speyer is a very lively town with a great heritage and good restaurants. Outside speyer you have great nature and some wineries. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Nice old fashioned hotel. VERY clean. Staff very friendly, esp the breakfast lady with the short dark hair. We were allowed to check in 30 minutes early. Good breakfast with nice coffee - please take the large glass if you're making yourself a latte machiato!! - Room spacious with fridge, kettle and coffee, desk, decent desk chair. Bed was great and two pillows to choose from. Room was a bit warm but there was decent fan. There was a bit of a smell though so we opened the window. Bathroom nice, spacious, great shower, make up mirror.
