Hotel & Ristorante Bellora

We had been recommended this hotel by someone in the family and decided to try it out for a romantic weekend. I had ordered flowers in the room and champagne in advance, and also asked if it was possible to have a bathtub in the room. The hotel was very helpful with everything and made everything ready for us before we arrived. The first thing we noticed was how welcome we felt at the reception. The receptionist was very nice and took the time to talk to us about all the facilities. The rooms were nice and everything was nicely prepared for our arrival. We had a good breakfast at the hotel, enjoyed drinks in the lounge and ate at the restaurant here too (own review). It is incredibly nice that all the female (and some male) waiters/receptionists walk around wearing dresses/shirts with floral motifs, it was very well done. It should be said that the hotel is located in the middle of the avenue and you get a lot of noise from the disco. It was wise to ask for a room away from the street. Now it should be said that we were warned about this, but still chose the room (because of the bathtub). Slept poorly the first night before we saw that the hotel had put out earplugs in the bathroom, so this could have easily been avoided if we had looked a little more carefully ;) The next night was good, then earplugs were used. Very, very happy with the stay, definitely recommend this hotel.

They gave us a horrible room for the price of 3000 SEK. It was right next to the restaurant with an open view into our hotel room, also super loud sound. After letting them know they only offered a cheaper room on the 6th floor, worth less with no price reduction. They said its «normal» in central hotels for it to be noisy, which is not true. They did not want to give a refund and unbook. Luckily I managed to fix it through booking.com. Their parking was horrible and was next to a bunch of pallets and work tools not secured, so one slid into my car and made a scratch. Horrible service and passive agressive personal. Ordered a different hotel nearby, beautiful hotel, same price. No problems. Stay away from here unless you want headaches.
