Hotel Riu Atoll All Inclusive

We spent a truly magical holiday at Riu Atoll in the Maldives in June, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! The entire resort is absolutely stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and the crystal-clear ocean just steps away from our room was pure paradise. We stayed in a Beach Room with direct access to the beach, which was a dream come true. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, warm, welcoming, and always helpful. A special moment for us as parents: we forgot the measuring scoop for our baby’s formula, and the lovely team at the patisserie kindly helped us portion the formula, such a thoughtful and compassionate gesture! The resort is also incredibly family-friendly. Our 11-month-old daughter had a fantastic time at the Mini Club, and the animation staff was caring and attentive. Meanwhile, we enjoyed snorkeling in the vibrant underwater world, we spotted so many beautiful marine creatures, it felt like swimming in an aquarium! The weather was absolutely perfect every single day; sunshine, turquoise waters, and swaying palm trees made it feel like a true tropical escape. There’s also a small shop on-site for souvenirs and essentials, though for more shopping options we recommend checking the airport in Malé before your flight home. As for the food, there is room for improvement, although the buffet offered variety and we were always satisfied after each meal, the flavor could be enhanced. The snack bar between main meals could also be improved. However, these are just minor points in what was overall an exceptional experience. In summary: we would return in a heartbeat! Riu Atoll offers everything a family could wish for: relaxation, adventure, kindness, and beauty. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Amazing service, beautiful location and would definitely return. We felt very well looked after throughout the whole stay - even things as small as being offered water at every meal to make sure everyone is hydrated in the heat. Wonderfully clean, air-conditioned room with a huge bed, even in the standard room. Minibar is restocked every day for free. Many watersports offered for free. House reef is incredible too.

The hotel is amazing, and the whole experience in the Maldives was fantastic. Pros: 1. If you’ve seen beautiful photos of the Maldives with white sand and turquoise water — it’s not Photoshop. The colors are real, and this island truly showcases them. It’s breathtaking. 2. The reef is astonishing for snorkeling. The house reef is full of colorful fish, just 10 meters from the beach. The highlights included baby sharks near the shore and larger sharks a bit further out. 3. Delicious food with a large variety. 4. Plenty of activities to enjoy every day — you definitely won’t get bored on this island. Cons: These are just very minor suggestions for improvement and don’t take away from the overall experience. For instance, there wasn’t a tap near our villa to rinse sand off our feet. After a few days, we discovered that some villas and other areas did have such taps. It would be great if every villa had one installed.
