240 meters from the sea. Very nice and spacious room with friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing with different options! Great experience and great hotel!

The ac was not sufficient to cool the room to an acceptable temperature. The temperatur outside was 30 degrees and room 27 to 28 degrees. Hotel claimed that it was to warm outside. Remarkable comment in Italy mid summer…

Maybe our expectations were too high, but we were extremely disappointed by this hotel. I’m a frequent traveller for pleasure and work but never saw a 4 star hotel like this. While the young receptionist was friendly at checkin, the lobby was uninviting. It looked redone but still old and even dirty. The parking lot is quite far from the hotel (400m) and very difficult to find. The room was very small, comparable to an old style Ibis. Also the bathroom was tiny and old. The airconditioning didn’t work as it should resulting in a hot room. There was a problem with the toilet and the water kept running. This combination of issues made us decide we didn’t want to stay there. I went back to the reception and told the young lady we didn’t want to stay in our room because of the size, the heat and the problem with the toilet. She was friendly and said she would try to find us another room. Here the confusion started. First she stated the hotel was fully booked. I told her in that case we would like to leave and find another hotel. She then said there was a family room available but she wasn’t sure she was allowed to give it. She needed a few minutes to talk to her manager (on the phone). When I went back a little bit later, she stated the hotel was fully booked and there was no solution. We decided to leave. Sadly we were charged the full rate, including the breakfast we obviously didn’t get. The staff was friendly but clearly couldn’t do much. The room was really not up to 4 star standard. It’s a shame we didn’t get any form of compensation.
