Hotel Royal Ricc

If I could, I would give this place six stars. It is probably one of the most unique, quaint and beautiful luxury hotels I’ve ever stayed in Europe. What’s better than a 16th century baroque Hotel? The service is amazing. When I came downstairs at 5 AM to tell them my room coffee maker was not working they went into the kitchen and made me a cup! I was desperate for caffeine to do some work at that hour due to jet lag. They were so gracious. Will definitely be back, been too long since the previous visit.

I went on a trip with my parents to the hotel, and had a wonderful experience. The Moravian decor is beautiful and unique to the region, the breakfast was great, and the staff were amazing. Ondrej at the front desk was so helpful with printing for my parents, and the entire reception team helped me to ship documents back, when I foolishly left them in the room post-checkout. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Royal Ricc during our November trip for the opening of the Christmas markets and lighting of the tree! It’s convenient to the train station and all the sights in the old town and is delightfully decorated with a medieval flair. Our room was large with plentiful amenities, a separate dressing/closet area, and a big bathroom. The friendly, English-speaking staff were helpful with plentiful tips about the area. Earplugs came in handy because, although the hotel itself was quiet, our room overlooked a public courtyard and noise came in during the night. The radiator was working overtime and kept the room warm, so we had to leave the window ajar to stay comfortable.
