Hotel Saigon Morin

This is the oldest hotel in Hue. I found d it to be charming. Right in the centre of town, opposite Perfume river. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was adequate for me. Nice little pool. It's value for money.

Very friendly and helpful staff and walk across bridge to market. Close to lots of restaurants plus boat trips. Breakfast also very good. Swimming pool also very good though tiles very hot. So foot ware essential

The hotel is old and dated, and needs some TLC. It was probably a beautiful place in it's heyday, but now needs updating. Unfortunately, the pillows were dirty and stained, on showing them to the manager, she was very apologetic, however, this is not the standard you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The rooms were very spacious, and so was the bathroom, which had both a large bath and a large shower, separate from the bath. The air-conditioning was good, even though the building is old. The hotel is located across the perfume river from the Hue citadel, which is walkable, if you go through the tunnel in the fortress wall with the cars. You can easily access the waterfront and walk along the promenade which is lit up at night. Additionally, the train station is only a 5 minute drive up the road, or a 15 minute walk. The breakfast buffet had some variety, but the food was all exposed, and thus there was flies on the food.
