My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Salzburger Hof for 7 nights with the half board package and I can confirm this is one of the best and most unique places we have stayed. The location was only a short walk from Bad Gastein train station, ski lift and plenty of shops and bars. As soon as we checked in we were greeted with friendly staff and all staff that we met throughout our stay were polite and very helpful. Leonardo was our waiter every night and he provided exceptional service as well as different wine recommendations each night. After skiiing we spent most of our days by the wellness centre as well as the adults only wellness centre. Both were very clean. We especially liked the whirlpool in the adults only pool. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. I would like to thank the chef Mario and his team for serving the exquisite food. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay to book the half board package. We were very well fed our entire stay from the breakfast buffet, after skiing buffet followed by the 5 course dinner. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking to holiday in Bad Gastein.
Best hotel I have stayed at! Especially the food was amazing. Staff was super comfy and professional. Spa and sauna were a nice plus.
Hotel is old, I’m sure it was very cool 30 years ago. beds are extremely soft, so my back hurt after the 6 days. Staff is friendly, location is good.
