Hotel Shanker Palatial Heritage Kathmandu

Our stay at Hotel Shankar in Kathmandu was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, the bellboy and security guard gave us a warm welcome. The check-in process was smooth, and since we were quite tired, we requested to pay on the last day — they kindly agreed, which was very considerate. The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby and corridors are elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated how quickly they responded to our requests for extra slippers, tissues, and other essentials. Their commitment to cleanliness and service really stood out. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was also satisfying and well worth it. On top of that, we tried their room dining service and highly recommend the Nepali mutton thali — it was absolutely delicious! The location is another big plus, being close to the city centre and major attractions. We stayed for two nights and genuinely enjoyed every moment. Hopefully, we’ll be back again.

Came for birthday one night stay and it was perfect. Swimming pool was warm, perfect for our kids, they decorated room for our birthday with yummy cake. Hospitality was immaculate. Will visit again, food was delicious, breakfast buffet had lots of variety and delicious
