Hotel Slavija Garni

This hotel was well located, safe, and plenty of food and drink options close by. Although there is a nostalgic charm, the hotel is clearly dated. If you want a well priced, comfortable central location without the frills, this would work. Reception helpful spoke English. Im giving this overall 4 stars based on value and location. If staying somewhere luxurious is part of your travel experience, this is not the place to stay.

Disgusting Experience – Avoid at All Costs! We traveled to Serbia with our family and my brother’s football team, and unfortunately stayed at Slavija Garni Hotel. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. First of all, the hygiene was absolutely unacceptable. The moment we entered the room, it was clear that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The floors were dirty, the bathroom was grimy.To make matters worse, the toilet door didn’t even close properly. This is a basic expectation in any accommodation having a functioning, private bathroom – and they couldn’t even meet that. The food was terrible. The hygiene level was practically zero, and it honestly felt unsanitary and unsafe at times.I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Especially if you’re traveling with family or a group it was uncomfortable, dirty, and far from what you’d expect even from a budget hotel. This was not a pleasant stay in any way.

‼️The worst experience of my life! Horrible. To start with, the rooms are awfully dirty. The curtains of the shower are covered with mold. Bed sheets are full of spiders, bread crumbs, hair and dirt. The biggest disappointment happened when the cleaning lady stolen my golden earrings. No one was interested in helping me to find out what happened, besides the older lady who was some kind of supervisor. The whole management and all the employees should be ashamed of the way they handled this situation. Never again. Pictures from their website, booking.com or any other platform absolutely do not match with what you will see here. Strongly advise to think twice before booking your stay!
