The location is great, close to the beach and surfing places, we came here for the beach, sand, and surfing. It got everything close by, and you get everything by walking. The breakfast and service people are great, you can also do happy hour in the same area. While having food or drink, you get sea view, charming people. The restaurants close by have Sushi, Seafood, Mexican, Argentina, American etc. The food are generally good and authentic. The room is great, it is big and clean. The service quality depends on day-by-day, sometimes, the service forget I need another blanket, sometimes the service forget another tower.
My daughter and I went for my birthday and had the best time. We enjoyed everything about the hotel and our stay. Everyone was super nice, from the front desk staff to the restaurants and cleaning staff. Beautiful grounds! Good restaurants and all in walking distance. One of the bars is made into part of the swimming pool, which was a cool and different experience. Hotel sits right on the beach. Clean room with a big balcony. Highly recommend and we will be back.
La Vista where we stayed was a beautiful condo provided by Diria with amazing views of Tamarindo Bay. Shuttle service was provided but flaky at times to get a ride. Road to villa was quite rough. Could have used better communication about resort offerings and what to expect before fully booking. Some of the staff was really nice like our drivers Roberto, Brando, Mariano, Javier and the concierge Raquel. Tours were fun and affordable. Had a great time hiking with our guide Alex. Beach was nice waves were fun. Food was good. Towns restaurants are quite expensive. Getting towels by the pool was a pain because we stayed at La Vista. Rooms at La Vista were modern style very clean and in good working order.
