Hotel U Královny Elišky

"A Wonderful First Stay in Hradec Králové" This was our first visit to both Hradec Králové and this hotel, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is fantastic - spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any requests. The spa was a definite highlight, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was superb. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable, with the waitstaff being both professional and welcoming. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The breakfast was great. They made THE best hotel buffet eggs I've ever had. Hotel buffet eggs are usually dry, flavorless, and rubbery, but theirs were moist, not homogenous, and flavorful. The breakfast sausages were great, too. I also really liked the tiny pancakes, which I covered with Nutella and fresh strawberries. They also have a beautiful summer terrace overlooking the park and a beautiful synagoge. The staff were very friendly. There was a misunderstanding when it came to the payment, but the staff handled it very well and respectfully. I booked a room using the pay later feature and gave Booking my credit card, so I assumed that when I checked in, I'd be charged (which is how these things normally work, in my experience.) That wasn't the case here for whatever reason, so when I left in the morning the staff sent a very respectful message explaining that they realize the process is confusing, but they think I may have left without paying. We sorted it out quickly, and they were very nice about it. The only downsides of the place were that the rooms were a bit dated. The shower wasn't very strong and the water temperatures fluctuated.

What could look as good location turnout to be bit noisy when room with windows to square. Shades also does not cover light from outside. Bit worn out.
