going with family for Korca Birr event we stayed at the hotel the host it was so helpful we did enjoy the stay was perfect

One star. And because you can't give half a star without Google asking if I'm okay. From the moment I crossed the threshold of the room, I knew this "hotel" was more like a time capsule... frozen at the precise moment someone abandoned a half-finished renovation because they'd probably lost faith in humanity. 🕷️ The Lamp of Terror The first thing I saw when I looked up at the ceiling was a lamp hanging as if out of sheer resignation, surrounded by a nest of cobwebs so thick it looked like they were collecting rent. And the worst part: a spider kept watch from its peeling plaster perch. If this was part of the thematic experience, I didn't understand. If it was hotel staff, it should have been wearing a badge. ⚡ Outlets in "Russian roulette" mode The outlets... ah, the outlets. Sticking out of the wall as if they'd tried to escape. Behind them, cables exposed to the eye and, possibly, death. Did you want to charge your phone? Well, first, make a will. 🧽 Cleaning: On an indefinite strike The corners accumulated layers of dust and suspicion. The bathroom had a penitentiary feel, and the sink seemed to have narrowly escaped dismantling. The floor layout was an expressionist performance of discordant tiles. The shower, built as a makeshift hippo trap, was dizzying to look at. 🔦 Post-apocalyptic lighting One of the light fixtures hung open like a toothless mouth, exposing its rusty innards among the remains of deceased insects. The shadow cast on the ceiling was scarier than the contents of the closet itself. ⸻ 📌 In short: It's not that this place is poorly maintained... it's just that it seems like no one has cared for it since 1993. There was no food, thankfully. Given the level of hygiene in the surroundings, I'm grateful to have tasted absolutely nothing that could come into contact with my digestive tract. If you've been looking for a place to reflect on your poor life choices, congratulations: you've found it. If you've been looking for a break... keep looking, my boy.
