Hotel Villa Kastelruth

From the moment I booked, I already felt the warm hospitality of this hotel. Olga was incredibly attentive, patient, and truly caring throughout the entire booking process — such a great first impression! The hotel is easy to find, and as soon as I stepped in, I was welcomed by the cheerful laughter of the manager, Katja — so full of life and warmth! The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view. Both breakfast and dinner were refined and delicious, with a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. The hotel also offers a relaxing spa and even free guided hiking services — such thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. I will absolutely return. And to be honest… I already miss Katja’s wonderful laughter!

A lovely hotel - friendly staff who can offer advice on recreational opportunities in the area, excellent food, stunning views to the nearby mountains, spa and pool to enjoy. The hotel is based in a small town about an hour's drive from Bolzano so in contrast to some of the other villages in this area of the Dolomites, there are a reasonable range of shops for everyday essentials and gifts. When we were there (June) a local guide was able at points through the week to advise on walking routes and lead small parties from the hotel on outings to some of the mountains.

Very nice hotel with a good location in Kastelruth. There is free outdoor parking and paid parking in the garage. The entire hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful. A ski room is available for skiers. Breakfast offers a wide selection of dishes. The dinner is excellent. It always offers changing dishes. You can choose between 3 variations. There is also always a choice of dishes for vegetarians. We had booked a junior suite and were very happy with it. It offered enough space for 3 adults and had a great view of the mountains. Every morning you can take the shuttle directly from the hotel to the ski lift. The public bus stop is about 300 meters away.
