Upon arrival the reception staff were very friendly and parking was abundant. We had a little walk along the promenade access via a gate at the bottom of the grounds, the cliff top view was incredible. The bar and restaurant staff were professional and very informative, making the effort to understand our taste before making recommendations. When the food arrived we weren't disappointed. The rooms as large and well equipped we were most grateful for the air-condtioning as this had been a bit hit and miss on the trip so far. Breakfast was a good mix between continental and western. I recommend whole heartedly.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning position on the Ligurian Riviera and well positioned between Genoa City and the lovely towns of Portofino and Santa Margarita. Quiet, refined and tastefully decorated. And the staff are wonderful! Very helpful as well as warm and friendly.

Very cute hotel about 30min from Genova, very friendly service, clean rooms, nice breakfast, nice location. Unfortunately, we were hoping for a quiet stay to relax on our honeymoon - but the isolation is really sub standard and you can hear people in the corridors, in other rooms and even from the parking lot talking and walking and laughing as if the walls were made of paper - not to mention the train that passes by very loudly every 30 minutes. We slept with earplugs and still didn't get a proper rest. Also beware the mini bar prices and the glass of freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning - we thought it was included in the breakfast and had one every morning but found out at check out it was 5 euros per glass. The rooms are clean but not very modern and our shower was tiny, but I guess that's also the overall charm of this place - it's old and cute. And as I said - the service was very friendly and very professional. And the parking is free. So overall a nice stay and if you go don't miss the secret shortcut to the beach and nearby restaurants - you will need a key from the reception. Mille grazie!
