We have just visited the restaurant to have dinner. Very nice place. You have the option to eat from the buffet or a la carte, but we had the impression every guest was on half board and went to the buffet. Good choice, which is worth the price but nothing extraordinary. The taste of the various dishes was very good. The service was very professional, and the waiters were very friendly as well. Sitting outside was fantastic, especially because it was covered and rain was not an issue.

Positives: The hotel is set in a beautiful location. The pools are nice. The staff were okay. Eger is a great place to visit, and the town centre is around 20-30 on foot. Negatives: The food was particularly subpar for the for price. Breakfast was crowded with minimal options and the quality wasn't great. The line for the single coffee and fruit juice machine were HUGE (when the machines actually decided to work). The food for dinner was somewhat nicer but there were limited options. The waiters will not take your plate of food. For example, if you have a soup to start, it is left on your table and you then have to try move it around like a jigsaw to fit your plate for the main course. I had to get up and move my plate to a disused table or take it to the servers area on multiple occasions myself. The rooms do not have a 'minibar' as stated. The fridge contained 2 bottles of warm water. The fridge in both rooms we had booked did not work properly and barely cooled water to room temperature. This is mostly an issue as the tap water (although apparently drinkable) is in fact thermal water. This is reflected in the temperature - you cannot drink a cold glass of water in your room. It is always warm and never cooled. The air con is old, loud, and doesn't cool the room particularly well, even on max setting. I do not recommend a stay here. For the price, there's better options available, even in the region.

In a 4**** star hotel, parking must be free! Likewise, in a 4**** star hotel, a bathrobe for wellness must be free! A must! - In the swimming pool, a little green light by the palm trees and color would make the whole thing more cozy! - the loungers in the swimming and wellness area are a disgrace!!! you break your back and you can't lie flat, which is important after a sauna. Loungers not adjustable! - 2 saunas were not in use, salt cave NOT 35°. So the described service was not provided, but full price was charged - in the restaurant, some Christmas decorations were missing from the tables, no arrangement, no candle (should be a must), no flowers, cold atmosphere - the chairs are awful. A felt mat would have been appropriate. When moving the chairs, the screeching like a circular saw is too loud and annoying - the air conditioning unit on the ceiling is annoying, as there was a constant wind and the food also got cold quickly. Overall the room was too cold - the restaurant reminded me of a canteen, definitely NOT a 4**** hotel - ordering drinks often took too long - Room: there were stink bugs and dead flies visible on the ceiling light (above the ceiling cover). Certainly not cleaned in the last 5 months. Not a great sight if you lie in bed and see it. - on the 2nd day the sink was not cleaned! - the bed linen was only cleaned superficially and the pillow was cleaned with 2 handshakes - breakfast: very modest, not acceptable for a 4**** star hotel. No small bowl for honey! You had to pour it directly from the bottle into a coffee cup, glass or plate. - jam was not fresh, from a plastic cup, 2 to choose from - fruit was very modest - toaster available, but not connected to 220v! - dinner was better there, but often lukewarm and not hot served - the complex was quiet, there were only about 8 people there Overall, this hotel does not deserve * * * * but only * * * stars. For a real 4**** hotel, the staff is overwhelmed and the complex is too cold and not family-friendly
