Fantastic stay, great value for money, had such a great time and the hosts were lovely! Food and spa was very good too, catered for my gluten free needs 😊 Will be back 👌

Wellness, food and overall atmosphere are great!

From the outside the hotels looks nice and niet - also on the website it presents itself with a 4* Superior. Well... looking behind the walls we find other things. The best was the food. The kitchen crew is doing an amazing job. Creative in many ways. When it comes to vegetarian there is still room for improvement but otherwise delicious and a full belly is guaranteed. Looking beyond the food there are actually various reasons WHY I would not recommend the hotel nor come back for another holiday. Having seen other 3 star hotels and more.... I feel the hotel is not up to date with a possible comfort that clients love and possibly also expect for the price they pay in the end. - No coffee machine or kettle in the room - the Wellness area is rather old and far too small. No slippers have been available, plastic deck chairs, not enough loungers, saunas not advertised, etc. => it's so simple to put a sign up so everybody can ready and find the place (it's also for other things that there was only minimal signs!) - Price/performance rather high - Seem that the Hotel is generally getting out of shape. It never lives up to the description as a 4 star S hotel. - QR Code only? Yes we are modern... but do we always really want to use our phones? even being away from work? I love to have a paper in my hand and read and not always uses a screen => so there was zero information at reception when you check in. She simply says that for information you can take a photo of the code here and then look at it on your cell phone. - It's so easy to have a bus plan in the room - so you can get the info how to get back to the hotel... instead of always using the car! OK. - Shuttle - a great thing when it works..... Return transport was not organized even though we were promised it (I guess creativity has room for improvement!) - Staff could be more attentive to guests They promises a lot on the website, but doesn't give much away other than the food. Very unfortunate in my opinion. ==> There is a lot of room for improvement here. Most disappointing for me was in the end: You pay the rest of your costs.... and then the boss (I assume it was the boss) didn't even ask how our stay was or whether we were satisfied. NOTHING, not a word, not a question. That was shocking and leaving an impression you as a hotel doesn't want to leave. Every good hotel (the people working at the reception) ask in the end of the stay: how did you like your stay? was everything to your satisfaction?... Have safe journey home. Nothing like that.
