A nice hotel in a lovely location high up in the vineyards, only a short distance from the centre of Spitz. Clean, newly decorated Cosy bedrooms with tea making facilities :) Thank heavens. And an honesty bar on the landing. They produce their own wine which you can buy. Breakfast was the best, serving lots of home-made treats and local cheeses
The hotel was situated on the top of the hill apx 500 meters from Donau bank. It was easy to climb with car, but I’m not sure if I had to take my luggage by foot there. The view was spectacular. There was a small parking place for cars. The hotel itself was a bit old fashioned even the lobby and wine shop was facelifted. Rooms was big and lots of cupboards. No air conditioning. Toilet was extremely small and there was separate bathroom with shower. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and premises beautiful. I think this would be good for cyclists.
