Simply an incredible hotel for the price you're paying - excellent central location, beautiful exterior architecture, the most endlessly kind staff from check-in to bellmen to restaurant workers to housekeeping to room service staff, beautifully ornate in-room detailing; beautiful view from hotel room; and the convenience of souvenir shops that accept credit cards as payment directly within the hotel. I would also like to mention the superior service of Ms. Neha at reception who is endlessly patient, heartwarming, and helpful. No matter day or night, I encountered her knowing I would have all concerns managed, and she never failed to surpass my expectations - thank you for hiring such wonderful staff!

Great food and excellent service! I recently attended a wedding at Hotel Yak and Yeti, and the entire experience was nothing short of spectacular. Though I wasn’t staying at the hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance, service, and overall event coordination. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Nestled in the heart of Kathmandu, the hotel blends historic charm with elegant architecture and lush green gardens. The wedding took place in a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, and both were stunningly decorated. The lighting, floral arrangements, and layout all contributed to a warm and luxurious atmosphere. The food was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide selection, including Nepali, Indian, and continental dishes, all served fresh and delicious. The live stations added a fun and interactive element to the dining experience, and the servers were polite and attentive throughout. Even aspects like parking and accessibility were well managed, which is often a challenge at large events. Guests were guided efficiently, and there was ample space for vehicles. Overall, Hotel Yak and Yeti proved to be a world-class wedding venue. The combination of heritage architecture, beautiful decor, amazing food, and attentive service made it a memorable celebration for everyone involved.
