I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt Regency near the airport in Algiers, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is large and modern, offering both standard and deluxe rooms. I stayed in a deluxe room, which was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The room was well-equipped with a large flat-screen TV, a capsule coffee machine, an electric kettle, a mini fridge, and a generous bathroom featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower area. The thick, solid doors helped ensure excellent sound insulation, making the room quiet and relaxing. Wi-Fi coverage was strong and consistent throughout the hotel, which was very convenient for both work and leisure. The hotel has four elevators, which kept waiting times minimal. One of the highlights was the wellness area, which includes an indoor swimming pool, a steam room, and a well-equipped gym. The fitness center is particularly impressive—spacious and filled with professional-grade machines, free weights, and even a scale. Laundry services are available for an additional fee, with clearly posted operating hours. Another standout feature was the breakfast buffet—absolutely outstanding, with a vast variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. In summary, Hyatt Regency Algiers Airport offers a high level of comfort, excellent amenities, and great convenience for travelers. I would definitely recommend it for both business and leisure stays.

Hotel next to the airport quiet modern but some rooms are a bit "destroyed" Air conditioning is not working in all rooms. Usually air conditioning system is very dirty dusty and makes sound. They need cleaning. Coffee machine quiet often is not working at breakfast. Strictly prohibited to bring food from the outside I never seen such a rule anywhere. Very expensive food in restaurant quality poor. I found plastic in pasta (room service).

⚠️ I strongly advise any airline, business traveler, or tourist to avoid this hotel if you expect equal treatment, safe food, or respect for your personal data and dignity. As a frequent international traveler and I have never encountered such alarming and unprofessional conduct from a hotel. My recent stay at this establishment has raised serious concerns regarding discrimination, hygiene, and violations of both Algerian and European laws. Firstly, the hotel applies its policies inconsistently. While we were strictly prohibited from bringing food, we personally witnessed another guests openly carrying food into the hotel without any intervention. When asked, a representative confirmed that other some people were allowed to bring food, despite the hotel having previously claimed in writing that no crew was allowed to do so. Secondly, the hygiene conditions were unacceptable. On multiple occasions, food served included foreign hair and dead flies, posing a serious risk to health and safety. Despite raising this with management, the response was not only dismissive but included open hostility and personal threats. Most concerning is the hotel management’s decision to forward the content of a personal email complaint to my employer without my consent, which is in disregard of protecting individuals from unauthorized sharing of private data. Instead of addressing legitimate complaints professionally, the management responded with threats, intimidation, and false accusations, even going as far as denying the events witnessed by multiple guests. This is not only unethical—it may be unlawful. There is no way to use the shuttle bus, because you need 10 people. There is a taxi provided from the hotel, but there is no driver for it. Also on early morning/late nights the provided service of transportation from/to the airport is impossible as staff claims they ,,have lost the phone”. The attitude is rude, childish and even funny. Also it is impossible to print documents on reception, because,,the system is not working” or the ,,machine is broken”. The laundry service is horrible. Clothes that need to be cleaned only in dry cleaning and PAID to be cleaned that way are given back washed in washing machine, not even ironed and with holes from staples. In summary, this hotel: Applies policies discriminatorily to different guests Maintains poor hygiene with unsafe food handling Engages in threatening behavior toward guests raising concerns Violates privacy and data protection laws by sharing personal correspondence without consent
