Hyatt Regency Aurora Denver Conference Center

I’m leaving this review to help set expectations and raise awareness for fellow travelers. This property isn’t a typical Hyatt Regency in terms of amenities or overall experience, but it serves an important and noble purpose. The hotel primarily supports patients and families visiting the nearby VA and Children’s hospitals. The staff was wonderful. Kind, helpful, and accommodating. If you’re traveling for business or leisure and looking for the full Regency experience, I recommend considering one of the other Hyatt properties in the area. This one is best reserved for those who truly need to be close to the hospitals. No complaints at all, just a note of context for others booking here.

We’re in Aurora for my cancer surgery, and our first stop was the Borealis Restaurant at the Hyatt Aurora Conference Center for lunch. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was really good, and we know good food. But what truly made the experience stand out was the incredible service from Ben and Austin. What could have been a heavy, anxious moment for our family was transformed into a genuine, uplifting experience. Their kindness, attentiveness, and effortless professionalism elevated our family time to something special. They didn’t just take our order, they made us feel cared for. Every detail was handled with thought and attention, and it felt like they genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves. In a time when great service is rare, Ben and Austin reminded us how impactful it can be. The entire staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Hyatt should be proud to have such exceptional people representing them. We’ll remember this meal, and the kindness we experienced, far beyond our stay.

We hosted a family wedding at the Hyatt last night, and while the venue was beautiful and the event itself went smoothly, one major issue stood out: none of the restrooms had a diaper changing station. There were many children and babies in attendance—including my own 3-month-old—and several parents, myself included, really struggled to manage diaper changes during the celebration. For a hotel that regularly hosts large family events, this was a surprising and frustrating oversight. We hope Hyatt will consider adding proper changing facilities to better accommodate families in the future.
