Hyatt Regency Kinabalu

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is a comfortable, well located hotel right by the waterfront and Gaya Street. Rooms are spacious and clean, with sea or city views. The breakfast buffet is impressive wide variety with live cooking stations and fresh coffee . The outdoor pool, located just off the breakfast room, offers sea views and a relaxed vibe with lounge chairs and a bar, though it’s a bit small and can feel exposed . Some parts of the hotel are dated, but the friendly staff and great location make it a solid choice for stays in Kota Kinabalu.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu recently. While the room was clean and comfortable, the overall feel was slightly dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Facilities were adequate but nothing particularly impressive. The gym, in particular, was fairly basic and could use some upgrading. Overall, a decent stay.

Our best vacation! We have been coming to this hotel for 4 years, usually for 4-5 weeks. The staff make our stay memorable. Regency Club is the best of all hotels. Thank you Emily, Ruth, Hamzi , Danzil and the rest for the excellent service. We got a very nice suite as always. The permanent maid was waiting with a perfectly clean room. Jonny and Antoni were waiting at the pool with a clean environment and a reserved sunbed. After hundreds of 5 star hotels in 151 countries, KK Regency is of course not the newest and most beautiful hotel, but you can have a perfect time. Excellent chefs and management, which is why the staff have been working here for decades. . thank you for the excellent hosting!
