Decent location. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet area. Can hear a bit of hallway and neighbor room noises, but nighttime was quiet, comfortable bed. I don't mind that there are paint scuff marks, or that the rooms are plain, the price was good. I did not so much like, however, that my bathroom floor had someone else's dirty shoe prints on it, and the pillows are not very comfortable. I would probably stay here again (and bring my own pillow).
I recently stayed at Hôtel Énergie Shawinigan and had a good experience. The location is perfect, especially if you're visiting the nearby national parks. The staff were welcoming and the check-in process was smooth. My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a great restaurant, a well-equipped fitness center, and a relaxing spa area. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend Hôtel Énergie Shawinigan for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and top-notch facilities. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
It is a scam; I booked with a group to visit during the long weekend, a week before the date we needed to cancel our trip and considering it was only one night during a long weekend + 1 week heads-up cancelation we thought no bug deal, Wrong they charged us and also there is not way to move the date. NOTE: During the booking process, there is no mention of the scammy cancellation practice that this hotel employs (see image below). Even in the English version, the legal wording is presented in French, making it impossible to spot the scam tactic.
