We loved our week at this resort. Our kids (15 & 12) loved the Star Camp, shows, and food! The entertainment team is amazing, so nice, will learn your names and you'll feel like family by the end of your trip! Special shout out to Angel on the entertainment team for always making everything fun! Also the bartender Marco Antonio in the aquarium bar! Thank you for a wonderful family adventure!
Overall, it was a good stay. We spent most of our days on excursions, so we weren’t in the hotel too much. The kids club was great — my son even got to perform in a circus show, which was a highlight. Staff were very friendly and hardworking. After I got several jellyfish stings that made it hard to walk, some very kind drivers even helped by bringing me directly to my room. However, there were some downsides. Our room was located close to the theater, so it was noisy at night. The biggest disappointment was the AC: it was very loud, ran nonstop, and the only way to sleep was by turning it off. Adjusting the temperature was also difficult — we had to ask for two days straight, making multiple calls and trips to reception, before it was finally set to 20°C (and not any lower). The food was just okay. The ‘lazy river’ is really just a pool with no actual river flow. Because of that, we preferred to spend time at the beach or by the Del Mar pools, which were much nicer and less crowded. In short, the hotel has its good points, especially the kids club and staff, but some improvements are definitely needed.
This was a nice place but it was also my 1st time staying in Mexico so I ha e nothing to compare it to. The resort was relaxing and not overcrowded. The food was just OK but I thought there could have been better options at the buffet. Staff was very nice but not enough bilingual employees to communicate with. Over all a good stay. I would go back. The only thing I'd recommend is that they add an additional towel hut. There was only 1 by the pool serving the whole resort is seemed. Put 1 by the lazy river.
