Although my first impression of the hotel, as I walked into my assigned room, was of disappointment (the pictures were somewhat misleading), I liked the hotel overall. The breakfast was good. The neighborhood is rundown but it is within walking distance to the train station. I would stay here again.
I could recommend this hotel for stay in Porto Alegre. I find it very nicely refurbished and remade, fully fitting 4 stars, like international not Brazilian 4 stars standard. This hotel could compete with many 5 stars hotels locally, and definitely worth of it's money. For 200 R$ per night for double room with queen size bed you receive a very well served and tasty breakfast, an outdoor swimming pool,a gym, a sauna, a business centre ( a corner with a computer), a parking. The hotel also offers a portier and a room service. Location is close to the airport, but for Porto Alegre It 8s not so far from the centre, and even better, because less traffic. There is a restaurant and cafe on the ground floor next to the reception. The room is great, a great great plus it is a modern and efficient AC, good WiFi, good TV so you can connect your devices ones you have, very good anti-sun blackout curtains and a stunning bathroom. I rated 4 , because I would like them to improve some things: they do not speak English, which for airport close located hotel is a minus, the iron board is only one and in a quite poor condition, so for the business travelers is an issue, and room service only until 12:30 am, so when you travel in the night, having layover is quite inconvenient to eat snacks from the bar, and when you are not from here, you don't know how to order food online. I think a kitchen 24h is must have for the airport hotel. I think these points will improve a lot your occupancy. Thanks a lot for a stay!!!
On 28th-August, 2022, I stayed at this hotel for my business trip. Unbelievably, they rejected to provide the invoice, with a lot of excuse. Their promise is just on mouth but no action at all. A very bad experience. Their sorry cannot compensate any cost of time and money on me.
