A splendidly situated hotel, offering excellent value, ideal for those planning to explore Porto Alegre. The rooms are impeccably clean and provide comfort, making them well-suited for a delightful long weekend getaway, although they may not be the most conducive for an extended stay. The staff exhibited remarkable accommodation and a genuinely warm and amiable demeanor. They readily attended to any requests, leaving no room for dissatisfaction. The only minor drawback was the thinness of the walls, which rendered the hallway noises perceptible. Despite this, I would confidently recommend this establishment.

Everything was nice and clean and my bed was very comfy but I didn’t really have the best time. I can’t understand how in such upmarket hotel the gym can be so run down, with 1 out of 3 treadmills not working and another one dangerously changing speed as you go. Bicycles also barely worked and since the computer is faulty you can’t change resistance and inclination. Worst part of my staying was to hear power tools being used at 9am when the hotel offers a much later checkout time. You shouldn’t wake people up like that without a warning. Drilling and banging carried on until 12pm then nothing all day. Surely you could have made all that noise after check out time?? Another reason for a low-ish review is that it’s extremely hard to have a conversation with your staff, except for reception. I understand we’re in Brazil and I always try to learn a few sentences out of respect for the country, but a basic level of English should be a must have in every hotel. I really struggle to order my food and drinks at the restaurant and our drinks order was wrong both times. On the positives breakfast was lovely, even though your staff is incredibly adamant to put everything away and start charging clients for food by 10am on the dot, which only makes one wonder if the business is doing okay… It’s potentially a great hotel but it isn’t run as well as it could be.
