InterContinental Haikou Seaview by IHG

There are perhaps better and more luxurious hotels in Haikou but the price quality in this hotel is probably the best. Rooms: We traveled with a child and the kids theme room was very good, lot's attention to detail to make the stay very convenient. Hotel building, pool, etc: OKish, this is likely the weakest point. Lobby is very nice, but building is somewhat not so modern, pool is too small and only outside. Everything is very clean though. There is also no hotel beach (this is btw the case with almost all hotels in Haikou). Gym also too small. Sound isolation in room from outside could be better as well. Food: Absolutely amazing. Breakfast in the restaurant is very good with lots of options for everyone's taste. The Chinese restaurant on the lobby floor is mind blowing in food quality, price is also super fair, I absolutely recommend to visit it at least once. The steak house on the top floor is excellent as well (not so common for China for steaks), but i would say it's rather very expensive. Perhaps point for improvement would be the waiters in restaurants (this applies to all restaurants btw). They were all very friendly and pleasant but too slow and not so competent. But the food was amazing regardless. Spa: Excellent but very expensive. Location: probably OK, you can get with taxi pretty much anywhere within 20 minutes. There is also a large shopping mall nearby with all types of restaurants.

Great location at HCC, great view of the sea, clean large rooms , great service. Great buffet breakfast.
