An unforgettable stay! The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly—from the general manager to the cleaning team—you truly feel like part of a family. A special thanks to our butler, Ayaz, who took amazing care of us throughout the stay. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. There are plenty of activities, and the snorkeling is fantastic. The Kids Club is excellent, making it a highly recommended resort for families. Restaurants are good, though there’s still room for improvement. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing experience!

This place is beyond beautiful – everything was perfect, from the stunning views to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are absolutely incredible; they treat you like family and have so much patience and kindness. A special shout-out to our personal butler, Iyaaz – one of the kindest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. He made our stay extra special. During our stay, I had a reaction to one of the dishes, and the level of care I received was outstanding. The resort even has a doctor on-site, which gave us peace of mind as a family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to this exceptional resort and its amazing team. Can’t wait to come back!

Extremely happy with our stay at Intercontinental Maamunagau. This was exactly what we dreamt of, and more. Beautiful stretches of white sandy beaches around the island, a beautiful lagoon surrounding the island, great dining options, extremely friendly and thoughtful staff, the perfect kids club with a library, play area, outdoor play area, kids pool with slides, etc., and our gorgeous one bedroom lagoon villa with pool which offered access to a white sandy beach through the front door and views of the lagoon from the back. Having stayed in a number of fancy resorts throughout the Maldives, throughout the years, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to rank Intercontinental Maamunagau among the top three resorts we've ever stayed at. A huge shout-out to our butler Yolanda for taking care of all our needs from the moment we stepped out of the seaplane until our departure. Thank you so much. Every single person we came in contact with, from the servers at the pool bar, restaurants, and deli (Atiq and Ishaq), to our room attendants, front desk staff, and the general manager himself went out of their ways that made our stay extra special, relaxing, and unforgettable. The experience began at the airport where we were greeted by their airport manager who immediately put our kids in the right mood, promptly got us checked in at the seaplane counter, and drove us in their (very comfortable) shuttle van to the seaplane terminal where we took a scenic 35-minute seaplane ride to the island of Maamunagau where we were greeted upon arrival and promptly driven to our gorgeous villa. The kids club, it's facilities, services and activities and the great staff there made our stay so much more relaxing than we anticipated. We often left our kids there whenever they felt cranky, and they always wanted to go back there. Thank you all for meeting and exceeding our expectations for this trip to the Maldives. This was one of those experiences we will always remember and talk about. Hope to be back sometime again.
