I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel like I have to after what we experienced here. We arrived at the hotel after driving for 7 hours in the heat, only to be told that there were no rooms available for us. We had booked in advance, but still had to wait late into the night before we finally got our rooms. No explanation, no proper welcome, just waiting around tired and frustrated. When we finally got to the rooms, we found several problems. The toilet in one room was leaking so badly that the whole bathroom was flooded. The air conditioning in another room was only blowing warm air. We reported both issues right away. They said someone would come to fix it. Someone did come, looked at it quickly, and left without doing anything. Nothing was repaired, and we had to sleep in those conditions. Only the next day were we finally moved to other rooms. The swimming pool was also really dangerous. Almost all the plastic covers for the drainage were missing, which made it super easy for someone to get hurt. As adults we already felt unsafe, so I can’t imagine letting children swim there. From the outside, the hotel actually looks nice, but on the inside, it’s clear that it hasn’t been properly maintained for a long time. I saw that it used to be a 4-star hotel back in 2005, but honestly, that’s not accurate anymore. It doesn’t meet the basic standards you’d expect. On top of that, they didn’t have keys for several rooms, so we constantly had to ask staff to open the door for us. There were no safes or lockboxes either, which didn’t feel secure at all. During cleaning, they also just left the doors wide open even when no one was inside. It felt careless and unsafe. The only good thing I can say is that the staff were kind and tried their best. They seemed to be just as frustrated as we were, and I don’t blame them the real problem is clearly the management. This stay was a big disappointment. I really hope they make serious improvements, because right now, this hotel is nowhere near the standard it advertises.
Disaster from the moment we arrived! The hotel was nothing alike the website. Myself and my partner picked this hotel for the pool, spa and bars but on arrival we were told that there was one bar open but couldn’t get a pint. The outdoor pool was dirty, no entertainment or entertainment going on apart from a pool table you had to pay for ! never the less the spa and big indoor pool was not open. The beach was derelict and locked up! You ask why there’s nothing going on they say Ramadan! However other hotels had plenty to do and entertainment. The food was very limited and cold, with cats sitting by your feet begging for food! Myself and my partner ended up paying to move to another hotel! We gave this hotel a chance considering good and bad reviews but I would never return I felt like I was in a holiday of hell!
Just don’t go there , water cutting , power randomly shutting, i made friends with the staff team even the higher ups and they said they don’t care about the cleaning the hotel or the people , rude reception , it’s like a hotel managed by kids , talked to a very high rank there she said the one who rented the hotel wants nothing but poeples money
