Issimo Suites Boutique Hotel & Spa Adults Only

Issimo is a perfect sanctuary after a long day of hiking, surfing and exploring Quepos. We started each morning with a fantastic breakfast served by the kindest lady. She remembered each day how we like our coffee and made my husband unique smoothies each morning after learning that he loved smoothies. We spent our days hanging at the beach with Da Hui Surf…not affiliated with the hotel but an amazing crew and beautiful beach five minutes from Issimo. If you surf…contact them! At the end of the day we would come back relax with cocktails at the pool. The resort is so small that it was typically just us and another couple…which made for easy relaxing. Nights could be spent dining in the fabulous on site restaurant or at one of the other restaurants close by. The rooms were clean with the most amazing views of the ocean and wildlife. I would not classify the rooms as luxurious but they were spacious and extremely clean. Our biggest complaint would be that the AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat of the afternoon. It got close but we wish the room was a couple of degrees cooler. Issimo calls itself a luxury hotel. As mentioned above, the room left a bit to be desired but the people and service are truly luxurious…. For the price, you cannot beat it. Thanks Issimo Team for making the resort such a special little place!

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the property and our room. Anything we asked for was provided and all staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Restaurant was amazing. Great patio area for relaxing and watching the monkeys play in trees on the grounds. Amazing views from deck in room, restaurant and pool area. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Nice Boutique Hotel. But don’t trust the pictures… everything is smaller than it looks like. Service is very good… Food nicely prepared, nice seating at the outside terrace with view onto the ocean. It is not a five star tasty kitchen but really ok, probably excellent for the region. In terms of luxury etc. they need to understand that guests booking an “adult only” hotel are mostly looking for silence. The ongoing Caribbean music is really disturbing and drives us crazy. Spa is small but with excellent services! We had the aromatherapy couple massage which we really enjoyed.
