Izmailovo Alfa Hotel

We stayed at the Alfa for a month on 6/2025 and were very happy with our choice. We stayed at the Superior room on the 28th floor for 3 weeks and then tried for one more week a Standard room. The Superior was remodeled recently and was indeed more up to date (carpet, Bathroom, Bed), and we recommend it over the Standard. Breakfast was great! - The lobby is beautiful. Excellent security - we felt very safe. Location is very convenient. It's just a 1-minute walk to the Partizanskaya Metro Station. Then it's about 15 min by Metro to The Red Square. All amenities and room-cleaning were very good too. A shopping mall with a very good supermarket is just across the street. Tip: Rooms looking to North have a nicer view (Izmailovo's Kremlin and Lake).

Al'fa Izmaylovo: Old charm, peaceful stay. Rooms could use a refresh but clean. Enjoyed our stay during the 2018 World Cup. Good breakfast. Recommended for a quiet Moscow escape.

An old hotel. It has a great location! A supermarket and a bazaar are five minutes away on foot! The rooms are clean and of a good space. The check-in takes some time. It is annoying that they are not staff don’t speak English fluently 🫠. Some of them use a translator 😁. One of the ladies at the front desk, attached is her photo, is soo rude! I ask for a water bottle to my room and she refused ! She said there is a water dispenser near the left go and drink there!!! It is a part of the ROOM SERVICE, which I PAID MONEY FOR!!! She refused to accept my request and said I got some check-ins wait until I finish 🙃!!! She made me wait for 20 minutes and eventually another colleague came and when I told her my request she said: “right away “!! A guest must be respected! Especially if the guest is a foreigner who came to explore the country and the people! The security must be tightened more since too many events are held there, especially ones involving children. One of the suspicious men followed me to my room! As I said, since many events for children are hosted there, it gets annoying when they run in the corridors! Another negative thing is that you got to carry your luggage 🫠. There is no bellman! Sofas 🛋️ in the lobby are sooo old. You might get a back injury if sit too long on them. The room service is not that good. They don’t change sheets if you don’t request!
