Great place to stay in Sanur! Staff is very friendly and it's just a great place with a really nice pool. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good place to escape the crowd and relax but your still very close to the main street and the beach. There are some shops and restaurants on the way to the main street as well. I can highly recommend staying here.
This is the second time we have stayed here and planning again in the future! Villa 2 is a perfect size for us. Several sitting areas, lovely pool to relax in. Short walk to many good places to eat and shop and to the beach... but why leave the villa? Very comfortable stay. Staff are lovely and will cook you breakfast if you ask them. No complaints. Look forward to returning. Want to recommend and tell everyone to stay, but kinda want to keep it to ourselves! ;)
Honestly, the only redeeming quality about this place is the amazing staff. Tofan was amazing and addressed every concern/ question we had. The night time staff member (we did not get his) also was very helpful and even went to the extent of hiring cheaper tranport for us into the city. The place looks nice upon first glance but as you stay longer, you notice some eyebrow raising parts. For example, hard wood floors, in the bedroom, but nails sticking out and little holes made it a safety hazard.. room wasn't properly sealed so the AC kept escaping and we had to sweat through a few nights.. AC air didn't reach the bathroom so it was constantly stuffy in there.. and a major ant problem. We get that there is a lot of wild life in Bali but this was excessive. The staff tried their best to get rid of them but they just kept coming back. The ants were not only in the bathroom but crawling through outlets, not too certain if this is the norm. The pool was nice but the water seemed to have stained our swimming suits a greenish yellow, we were told it may have been from the pipes. Anyways, had it not been for the wonderful staff and the fact that our 7 night stay was non refundable, we would have left pretty quickly.
