Great experience. Did bird watching early in the morning with an Environmentalist who was well versed about birds and animals and the history of the Hotel. Got a Forest dwelling which comes a swimming pool. Lovely stay at the hotel

This place is White Lotus AF. My husband and I stayed five days to enjoy a romantic, luxury retreat in this beautiful eco sanctuary amongst the wildlife, as well as to be our base to explore the archaeological and natural sites of this part of Sri Lanka. This place was perfect for this purpose. The entire resort is stunning and very wholesome. We stayed in water dwelling 114 and Chatu was our personal butler. He was so gracious, helpful, and attentive. We appreciated him so much! We watched the sunset most nights and gorgeous little bats would swoop in catching insects, then during the day could watch monkeys playing in the trees from the pool. The night time loris trail is a must too, even if you dont see the loris there is so much wildlife to see. This place genuinely cares about nature. The gym was brilliant, clean and with stunning views. Most entertaining workout ever with monkeys watching us through the windows haha. Spa treatments were good, not as luxury as the rest of the resort and my husband thought the massage wasn't firm enough and didn't like that they left the oil on, but the therapists are very kind I still went back the next day! We had a chauffeur guide drive us who organised any day trips which was a great way to do the visit. Im sure the staff here would help if needed though. Thank you to the team at Jetwing for our stay, and especially to our person butler Ruchira. Ruchira was absolutely wonderful with my partner and I, regularly available, and provided the most lovely and helpful service From first check in, we had nothing but the smoothest time at our stay. The rooms were exceptionally comfy and well appointed, with wonderful views and wildlife. Even a minor bug issue in the rooms was promptly taken care of whilst we were at dinner, and fully rectified. The food and buggy service were extremely timely, and hospitable for any movement through the grounds. We also recommend the morning birdwatching tour, our host was exceptionally knowledgeable, and truly enjoyed showing us around. My partner and I are very excited to return again to see this wonderful property and staff. We couldn’t have had a better time.
