Jin Shi Hu Hotel

Location is good, close by the MTR and night market. The service from the front office staff was good. The manager provided detailed travel snd transportation advice to the attractions. The breakfast was ok with variety of Taiwanese and western food. The drawback being lack of shelf space in the room, no counter space and cloth hooks in the bathroom. Overall value is good.

Walls are thin, I could hear the alarm from the room beside mine. Fridge was making loud popping noises which really affects sleep quality. Would be good if handsoap was provided. Breakfast selection and taste was mediocre, not the kind that makes you wanna go for round two. The rest was okay: service was good, bed was comfortable, hair dryer was working well and all amentities (except the disposable ones) were provided. Location is also convenient as there is night market, metro station and drugstores within walking distance but not noisy too.

-includes towels, soap, water bottles, toothbrush, shower cap, comb, razor, coffee and tea in room, refrigerator, TV -breakfast: super oily and not hot. Wouldn’t recommend using it to fill up even if it is a buffet. -put a lot of money into making the lobby look good -Nice size shower but water temp is not consistent -staff was less friendly at checkin but later very kind and helpful -very firm bed and noisy when you move -close to the station and very close to a night market. General nearby area was not amazing tho. -couldn’t use the wifi -the room was soooo hot and took forever to cool down -elevator seemed a little small but might fit a smaller stroller or wheelchair -seemed like no one else was on our floor so it was very quiet when we stayed
