Kahari is an incredible and truly unique resort. Our bungalow was perfect for our family of three, our daughter loved the loft. I loved opening up all the windows and listening to the waves at night with the lovely breeze. So peaceful. And it’s so fun to take the boat back and forth to Georgetown to get groceries and explore Exuma. The Chat & Chill next door is delicious and really easy to get to at low tide. Walking around the island, you are truly immersed in nature. And the hike to the Atlantic side is gorgeous, the waves are something to behold in that side. Will definitely be back.
We had such a great time staying at Kahari this last week! The staff really went above and beyond, especially with the kids to engage with them and make sure everything was taken care of for us Nevada the GM in particular was outstanding! He went out of his way on numerous occasions to make sure we were taken care of and that we had an amazing experience. The resort grounds are beautiful, safe, and clean. We will certainly be back with more of our family!
Kahari is one of the most beautiful beach resorts I have been too! It is peaceful and very low key. The rooms are airy and spacious. The white sand is beautiful, and you can swim out and snorkel right off the beach. Kahari has paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel equipment available and included in the price of the stay. We liked that you could choose to have a very private beach experience by staying on the Kahari side, or go around the corner to the Peace & Plenty Beach Club which is small but lively with yummy beach type lunches. The Chat & Chill is fun too, and just around the corner from the resort. You can also walk along the beach to the end of the island (about 4 miles round trip) and have any number of small beaches completely to yourself. I would also recommend trying to get out on a boat at least once or maybe more. We loved the Sand Bar, snorkeling, and seeing lots of ocean wildlife right off the boat. The water is so clear!
