Kai Du Hotel

This hotel is quiet. There is no karaoke party inside during the weekend. I got a room on the ninth floor below the rooftop. In the rooftop, you will find washing and dryer machines. Some people are smoking there, and I'm not sure it is allowed... My room looks new but there is one problem. The humidity there fluctuates between 70% and 80% 😱. Windows open or not, and air conditioner switch on or off, it is the same. My guess is : the air conditioner is not switch-on, and then we only get high humidity air coming from outside. You can smell humidity when you come inside the room and see droplets on the windows after waking up. Breakfast will be awesome if it is warmer.

Good hotel location, short walking distance to shopping and food area. hotel is dated, room is smallish but you have everything for a comfortable stay there, everything is compact north of island. service staff is helpful, check in and out is painless. most impressive is the breakfast, everybody clear their tables to counter for cleaning! Food variety and amount should be sufficient for most people.

Terrible, room not clean with thick dust, very old and smell no good. Towels are dilapidated like wipe clothes. Very far away from MRT station, location is not good also. For breakfast, the plates and chopsticks are dirty. Ham is too salty. Not much choices and no yummy☹️ Staffs are not helpful, even you are carrying heavy baggage and they are not able to open the main door for you.
