Kalipay Resort Siargao

Our experience at the hotel was very good. We stayed in one of the interior buildings rooms, which was spacious, comfortable, and opened onto the garden and pool area — creating a true oasis right in the middle of the buzz of General Luna. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring. It’s worth noting that there are two buildings, and the one facing the main road might be noisier, since it’s right on the town’s busiest street. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, we definitely recommend choosing one of the inner rooms. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and we also appreciated the hotel’s clear commitment to sustainability and the environment. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay in Siargao – highly recommended! This accommodation is in a fantastic location, close to great restaurants, beach parties, bars, and shopping. The rooms are beautiful and spacious — we even had a living room with a sofa and TV, plus a fridge, freezer, and water dispenser. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower and very comfy bed. We loved having our own private decking area. Wi-Fi worked well overall, despite the occasional power cuts on the island. There’s also a lovely pool, free bicycles to use, and motorbikes available for rent. The only downside was that the on-site restaurant was closed during our stay, as it looked quite good. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!

Our second stay at Kalipay and this resort really only gets better. Such a great location in GL. Far enough up Tourism Road to feel away from it all, yet super close to the main sections, as well as getting to Cloud 9. The rooms are also so well accommodated with everyhting you could need. We had a 7-night stay here and it felt like home. We actually had one of the front road facing king rooms and with their double glazed windows, we couldn't hear a thing. Excellent AC and wifi which is always handy. And lastly, a big shout out to the front office team of Debbie, Jen, and Lilit. Super friendly and welcoming and kept everything so well organised including super quick and fresh service from the hosuekeeping team. One last compliment to their gardener, I unfortunately didn't get his name, but their gardens are beautiful thnaks to his constant hard work.
