Kalix Boutique Hotel

Really nice hotel IMHO. Good location too. Stayed for 4 nights and could drove around easily. Decent breakfast. Room was nice and clean. Only down point is no elevator. So pack lightly if you are to stay on top floor. Oh, BTW top floor can be super hot during Summer due to direct sunlight.

Cons: No elevator - we stayed in the apt which are the most expensive ones and also the highest ones. Taking luggage to 3rd floor without elevator, it's challenging. Limited breakfast options Missing "do not disturb" label - this caused cleaning lady to enter without knocking For: Location - very quiet however very close to city. Quality - very good overall quality Value - didn't seem very expensive for the whole time we spend there Staff - helpful and polite Free parking

As other people mentioned, check if your room has air conditioning because even if hotel represents itself as 4 star, very few rooms have AC. We booked the most expensive suite with AC and guess what... there was AC in kitchen, but not in bedroom! And the room was in attic, so it was impossible to sleep in bedroom and we had to sleep kitchen instead. Be aware the hotel is in middle of nowhere, next to a big farm with hundreds of cows, so you can't even open windows in summer because of horrible smell. A single waiter in restaurant also works as a receptionist, and then leaves the hotel, that's why you have to check out before breakfast ends (10 AM). Needless to say, they have no food/drinks beside breakfast, so your only option is to get a taxi to city, which is 10 minutes drive. See a "beautiful" view from hotel in photos...
