The score for this hotel is below 4 in Goole. However, since I noticed is just finished it is refurbished, and reopen recently, and there are no other choices for hotels in Atami during fireworks, I give it a try. The room itself is still a little old, but acceptable. I choose the room which can directly see the sea, so that I can see the fireworks directly at my balcony. Overall, it's not bad. The dinner is very delicious, which they provided after the refurbishing. I will say it is worthy, especially when you seat near the window and see the night comming. For breakfast, since all the people will be in buffet, it will be crowded at all times. Fortunately there are a lot of choices. The Onsen itself is nothing special. I don't know how the hotel feel before the refurbishment, but I think it is a worthy place for firework days. Other than that, you will have a lot of balanced choose.

Overall is okay. Facilities is old. Website said there is shuttle bus from Atami Station to the hotel and have to make reservation. There is no other way in the website to make reservation except phone. I emailed them and got no replay. To try our luck, we waited for the shuttle bus at Atami station. It turns out it is a mini bus and there are lots of people waiting. We talked to the driver but what we got is big cross of his arms. He did not know English. We use Google translate to explain but still got the big cross. Finally, there were 3 seats left and we got on the bus. The other 4 people of our group has to take a taxi to the hotel. If we knew it, we will take the taxi. It was just 2000 Yen. At check-in, we want to book the shuttle bus next morning to the station but the staff said it is full. So we ordered taxi again. If you want to stay in this hotel, you better find a friend to speak Japanese and call them to reserve the shuttle bus. My advise is to take taxi since this bus does not have luggage space.
