The hotel exceeded my expectations. Hospitality was great. Staff were great. Location is wonderful and the view from our room was spectacular. And for the price we got this room, it was really great deal. I’ll recommend everyone to come and stay in Kilua

Beautiful Spot, But Management Needs to Step Up Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Kilua has great potential, the pool and beach were absolutely amazing-magnifico! and the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. Definitely a great place to unwind, especially if you're looking for ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere. However, there are some serious issues that need attention. First, the kitchen situation was a letdown. We had rats eat some of our food, and I spotted roaches🙄😔🤫 fumigation is urgently needed. On top of that, the staff seemed nonchalant, and the rules about dishwashing were unnecessarily strict for guests who are already paying for accommodation. The restaurant could do better too. Some of the staff didn’t seem properly trained, which made service frustrating at times. The TV in the room was pretty substandard, an upgrade required might as well not have one. And Internet? Forget it. There was no Wi-Fi in the room. We are Kenyans, yawa...speed is important! Also, there was construction going on nearby which brought a lot of noise during the day, making it hard to fully relax. That said, the overall vibe of Kilua is peaceful, and the beachfront location is hard to beat. With better hygiene standards, improved service, and working Wi-Fi, this could easily be a 5-star experience.
