King Ambassador Hotel is a good choice to stay at Kumagaya. Very close proximity to Kumagaya station. Walkable distance. 7-11 Store available very close and basic amenities are provided in each room. A complimentary water bottle for each night is missing. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Booking and Checkout is also easy (early check-in could be difficult though. Please check with staff). Breakfast options are good and very strict in timings. Ambience is calm and no disturbance in the hotel rooms.
The hotel is extremely dusty and dated. The carpets are filthy and the fittings are not well maintained. There is an odor in the hotel that gave me chest pain. Luckily I was only there one night.
Old hotel. Employees are kind. Internet connection is terrible! Not good if you need good and stable internet. Rooms are old with some maintenance issues, but clean.
