King Minos Retreat Resort & Spa

Great stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect, food was delicious 🔥 In Turkey there is a lot of food, but with the same taste, but that’s not the story about this hotel. Variety of seafood every day during lunch and dinner. Desserts and ice cream with different toppings. Rooms were spacious and clean. Stuff was friendly. Definitely recommend 🔥

I booked a classic double room with a sea view and a whirlpool. The bedroom was spacious, featuring a king-size bed with lovely soft pillows and a comfortable mattress. The room was cleaned daily, and it included a coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and plenty of electrical sockets. There was also a large TV. We opted for the half-board basis, with the flexibility to swap dinner for lunch if we wanted to eat out. The spa on-site was a highlight; we enjoyed a back massage that was perfect. The pool bar was lovely and clean, offering a wide selection of drinks. The pool area was well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available and fresh towels provided.

The King Minos Resort is a special place, a jewel in the crown of Crete. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, clean and kept to a high standard. The pool area and pool bar provides a relaxing atmosphere with music playing at a level which entertains without distraction, enabling clients to have a conversation, read or just relax. There is a good selection of food and drinks offered throughout the day at the pool bar. I took advantage of the Wellness Spa which was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They explained the treatments on offer but I never felt pressured to buy. I was put at ease and well cared for during my treatment. I highly recommend the King Minos Resort to other solo travellers and couples.
