What a great hot spring hotel! This hotel has some nostalgic 80s vibe and it has not lost any of its charm. It is very clean and comfortable. Restaurant with hakka cuisine is fantastic. All staff are very friendly and English speaking receptionists and hotel manager. Hot spring facilities were almost completely empty when we stayed (weekday). Private jacuzzi on the roof was amazing. All in all perfect!
We stayed here for two nights on our trip around Taiwan because we wanted to experience the hot springs. Picked this hotel because of the location and the different baths. The owner and staff are super helpful and friendly and made our stay amazing! They went out of their way to help me with an issue and also offered us dinner afterwards. Never experienced this hospitality before! Also the rooms are big and comfortable. The food is good as well. Spa was not too busy and offered great views of the surrounding area. Would advice anyone to go here!
We spent 3 nights at King’s Resort in February. We enjoyed it. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is family owned and the owner and staff were very friendly. The dinner meal was different each night and tasty. We enjoyed the private rooftop jacuzzi hot spring tubs and watched the sunset from there each evening. The main hot springs pools are small and can get crowded if you go at a busy time but we managed to avoid that. Our son had fun going between cold and hot pools and trying the sauna and steam room. This has a very local vibe. We saw zero foreigners and the only western food was cereal and toast at the breakfast buffet. Totally okay with us. I will say the sandals provided barely fit me and were 4 sizes too small for my husband, so if you are tall and have western-sized feet, bring your own. This hotel didn’t have some of the perks we’ve had at previous hotels, like a bidet toilet or robe to wear to the springs. But for the price, I think that’s okay. The one thing our room lacked was patio furniture so we could sit out and enjoy the view. Location was great.
